The Position: We’re looking for an IT Director.

Reporting to: Director of Operations

Summary: Primary duties are to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems with the goal to automate processing, to improve existing computer systems, and ensure employee’s technical issues are resolved efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Identify technology needs and make recommendations to management
• Manage the IT team, including developers, security analysts, support technicians, and vendors
• Maintains company hardware and software programs
• Works with users to determine required program changes
• Works with outside programmers to define requirements
• Project management and budgeting
• Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications
• Analyzes, installs, and tests upgrades of externally developed application programs
• Monitors performance of programs after implementation

Qualifications:

• Advanced computer skills with knowledge of network administration and service desk administration
• Project management skills including leadership, communication, time management, organization, problem solving and critical thinking.  
• Works well within a remote team environment and independently
• Excellent work ethic 

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience in Information Processing with focus on business systems. Industry certifications are preferred.
