Summer celebrations bring a whole new meaning to the Cherry Central team during the month of July and now that it is here, we are so excited for what is to come.

During the 1st (Canada Day) and the 4th (Independence Day), we always feel extremely grateful to celebrate the beautiful land of the free and home of the brave that our farmers can grow and harvest on. Although our family farms provide more than cherries, this month is Cherry harvest, and our growers will soon be hard at work in the fields across North America.

The National Cherry Festival is a food festival that began in 1925. It runs from July 2nd – 9th in Traverse City. The festival offers family-friendly events such as a carnival, air shows, parades, pie-eating contests, pet shows, and more. Cherry Central is proud to be a corporate sponsor, the leading juice sponsor, and a National Cherry Queen candidate sponsor for 2022-2023.

The fun doesn’t stop here in Traverse City or where our growers are located! During July, we will be attending multiple shows/events. July 10th-12th we will be at the School Nutrition Association (SNA) Annual National Conference at the Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando, Florida. July 10th -13th we will be at the National IFT Show located at the McCormick Place, in Chicago, Illinois, and from July 20th -21st we will be at the UNFI Conventional Expo Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. To top it all off, July 16th is National Cherry Day. Needless to say, we hope you celebrate accordingly and enjoy the month of July as much as we do.
