The Position

Product Manager

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Product Manager will be responsible for creating reports and the analysis of data. The position is also responsible for research, collection, analysis and presentation materials. Must have the ability to work with multiple departments within the organization in an effort to coordinate analytics to enhance operational and sales efficiencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble and summarize data to structure sales related reports on results, status and comparisons.
• Work with Ingredients Sales Manager and Director of Operations to ensure completeness and accuracy of published inventory and sales information in a dashboard format wherever feasible.
• Conduct studies on past, future and comparative item performance and work to develop forecast models.
• Maintain specific KPIs that will flag lower than expected performance.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and produce summarized reports based on current initiatives and specific areas of focus deemed important to drive performance.
• Work alongside the sales team to vet, understand and improve presentations and ensure they are driving action instead of simply reporting.
• Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the data analysis function.
• Produce inventory reports to supply our sales teams and our members, to help confirm inventory accuracy.
• Manage cost models, create purchase orders, and coordinate with accounting to review pools.
• Maintain product information in coordination with the marketing and quality control teams. Manage and maintain multiple internal and external item information systems like Syndigo, various customer portals, etc.
• Plan and carry out product launches. Drive action throughout the organization to get new products to market.

Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of Industry related experience (business, health care, consulting, insurance).
• Agricultural/Cooperative experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access.
• Excellent verbal, written, problem solving and quantitative skills.
