Our Products Health Benefit Highlights

With a name like “Cherry Central Cooperative Inc.” it leaves consumers to believe that all we offer are cherry products. Although our bread and butter is the Montmorency Cherry, what many people may not know is that our product offering expands well past the ruby red super fruit. CCC also offers dark sweet cherry, blueberry, cranberry, apple, pomegranate, black currant, asparagus, and strawberry products.

With a wide range of product offerings come a lot of benefits, including health benefits. With summer right around the corner, check out some of our favorite health highlights below:

Red Tart Cherries can help ease arthritis and gout pain.

Dark Sweet Cherries are rich in vitamin C and polyphenols, both of which are essential to maintaining skin health.

Blueberries are rich in antioxidants which can help improve vision.

Cranberries have a high level of antioxidant proanthocyanidins (PACs) which help lowers the risk of urinary tract infections.

Apples are linked to a lower risk of diabetes.

Pomegranate helps support digestion.

Black currants are a great source of anthocyanins which helps strengthen your immune system.

Asparagus is low in calories, but high in folic acid and a good source of potassium, fiber, thiamin, and vitamins A, B6, and C.
